The Isle of Her
Crissela Vo is a fully insured Fire & Flow Burlesque Dancer offering a variety of entertainment services ranging from Burlesque, Fire & Bellydance to whip cracking, silk veils, bubble magic and more!
Crissela grew up in the studio as a trained gymnast & competitive dancer, and she continues to study & train several different styles of dance.
She began evolving her practice through the healing magic that is true Aloha training Hula & Tahitian Dance under Kumu-Marleen Bush and Alakai's: Heidi Bush, Mel Lucero, & Serena Huerta of Hi'ilani 'O Ke Kai (Formerly, Kei Kai O'Uhane) Her mentors led the way showing inclusion with grace, love for the land & sea, and carried the stories of a once hushed culture.
In 2019, she began working with Rosalia Webster of BiG SuRCuS as a Photographer where she captured special marketing material for the team and participated in Elemental Rite of Passage workshops that sparked interest to how she could evolve her dance. By early 2020, she swayed from her background in hula and began studying Tribal Fusion Bellydance under Jessica Cooper. She performed as a Principal Dancer for BiG SuRCuS for 2 years gracing the stage for her very own Solo performances; from Bubbles, Silks and Fire, she pushed the limits of where her new skills could take her!
By early 2024, she dipped her toes in the fine art of the Tease studying Burlesque under Miss Belle Voilé & began making appearances performing with Belle's Bougie Burlesque Babes, as well as The Carmel Delights Dance Company. Her burning flame then lit her way to Fire Dancing with The Dragon Collective, led by Em Dragon, and Elevate Fire Dance Company, led by Angela Alessio.
